Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully request 24 hours’ notice. Missed appointments, or appointments canceled without 24 hours’ notice, will incur the full consultation fee.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a client does not enter the meeting within the first 15 minutes without prior notice. In either case, the client will incur the full consultation fee. If you are running late for your meeting with the attorney, kindly contact support@sabrinali.law to communicate this. The attorney will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes, after which the appointment will automatically be canceled. If the client arrives within the 15-minute window, the meeting will begin as planned. However, the total amount of time delayed will be subtracted from the 30-minute consultation allowance.
If the attorney requires a payment for the initial consultation, the specified amount is secured at the time of booking. Cancellation of the consultation more than 24 hours in advance will not incur a charge. However, cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full initial consultation charge. Should you wish to cancel your initial consultation before or during the 24-hour window, please contact support@sabrinali.law on Monday – Friday (09:00 AM – 05:00 PM PST, except on public holidays).
After retaining the firm to work on your case, any follow-up meetings are handled directly by your legal team. For any cancellation policy regarding follow-up meetings, please consult with the attorney.
There is no penalty or charge if your lawyer initiates the request to reschedule or cancel the initial consultation or follow-up meeting.
If you cancel your appointment before the 24-hour window, or if the attorney requests cancellation, you are eligible for a refund of the consultation fee. The full amount will be issued back to the client’s original payment form. Please refer to the following examples:
If the payment was originally made via credit/debit card, it will be refunded back to the card. Unless you are paying for a consultation fee that costs less than $500.00, there is a 3% processing fee for using a credit or debit card.
If the payment was originally made via e-check, it will be refunded back to checking account.
