Her experience also includes reviewing employee ethics and compliance issues, drafting advisory memoranda, and delivering legal trainings on immigration matters, use of force, and civil liberties—ensuring regulatory adherence and minimizing risks. Prior to her federal service, Amal honed her litigation skills as an Associate Attorney at a reputable civil litigation firm, managing a diverse portfolio in environmental and toxic tort defense, and as a Deputy District Attorney, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases with a focus on public safety and justice.
