Introducing Alana Bako, the Administrative Assistant at the Law Offices of Sabrina Li. Hailing from Zimbabwe, Alana relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2017 to pursue her tertiary education in psychology. Before this transition, she accompanied her mother on a month-long work trip to Washington D.C. Since then, Alana's admiration for the United States has grown, thanks to her mother's experiences working and living in various parts of the country.
Alana's passion for psychology arises from her desire to serve people and ensure their well being across different facets of life. A graduate of Monash University and a recently qualified Psychometrist, Alana dedicates a substantial portion of her free time to researching practical approaches to enhance mental health initiatives within the African education system and occupational landscape. In pursuit of this passion, she recently established The Tayana Foundation, an organization committed to advocating for and supporting the holistic wellbeing of African school-goers.
As an immigrant, Alana was drawn to the mission of the Law Offices of Sabrina Li and has made noteworthy contributions to ensuring the wellbeing of the exceptional team serving our diverse client base.
While not American, Alana finds inspiration in numerous prominent African-American women, including Michelle Obama and Serena Williams. Like these influential figures, Alana aspires to consistently put her best foot forward, working diligently to realize her full potential and make positive contributions to the lives of others.
We take great pleasure in having Alana as a valued member of our team and eagerly anticipate many more years of collaborative success!
